Frequently asked questions

My company is small. Does the EU AI Act affect me?

If you use AI in your business and operate in the EU (or have EU customers), yes. The AI Act applies regardless of company size — it covers chatbots, AI in HR, content generation, and any system making automated decisions.

What happens if I don't comply by August 2026?

Fines range from EUR 7.5M to EUR 35M (or 1-7% of global turnover). For SMEs, fines are proportionally adjusted but still significant. You also lose access to enterprise contracts that require supplier compliance.

Why not use an open-source tool?

Open-source options (EuConform, VerifyWise) are great for developers, but require technical setup, don't auto-generate documentation, and don't update with regulatory changes. CompliBot is the option for teams without developers dedicated to compliance.

How do you generate the documentation?

We use AI trained on the 16 official AESIA guidance documents (Spanish AI Supervision Agency) and the full EU AI Act regulation text to generate documentation personalized to your company: model cards, system registry, risk assessments, and action plans.

Artificial Intelligence Disclosure (Art. 50 EU AI Act)
